OBTAINING CONFIDENTIAL BUSINESS INFORMATION
~  Business owners are justifiably very concerned about people knowing that their business may be sold. Some of the negative factors are; employees tend to fear that their jobs may be at risk and thus look for alternate employment, customers tend to avoid businesses whose owners may not be there to support their product in the future and credit may be harder or even impossible to get. These are only some of the negatives and there are generally no benefits.

~ TO PROTECT OUR CLIENTS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SIGN A CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT:
A Confidentiality Agreement is a short statement you sign that indicates you will not make the fact that the business is for sale publically known. This of course does not include anyone actively involved with you in the purchase such as you lawyer or accountant. Generally you agree that;
You will keep all information confidential.
You will not contact employees directly.
You will not copy material supplied.
You will return all material if you do not pursue the opportunity.
